Family Basement Development
Recreation Room, Home Office & Full Bathroom

About This Project
With the rise of remote work, this Panorama Hills family needed dedicated office space plus room for their growing kids to play. Their 1,100 sq ft unfinished basement was the perfect solution.
We created three distinct zones: a large recreation room with space for a sectional sofa and media center, a private home office with built-in desk and shelving, and a three-piece bathroom. The open recreation area features recessed lighting with dimmers for movie nights, while the office has its own lighting zone for video calls.
Luxury vinyl plank flooring was installed throughout for durability and easy maintenance. The office features a barn door for privacy that saves space compared to a traditional swing door. Extra soundproofing was added to the office ceiling to minimize noise from above during work calls.
A key feature is the full bathroom with heated floors - a luxury that makes the basement feel like an intentional living space rather than an afterthought.

- • Heated bathroom floors exceed client expectations
"Working from home is so much better now with my dedicated office. The heated bathroom floors were a splurge but worth every penny. The kids love having their own space downstairs too!"— Jennifer L.
